It came to our notice that cryptocurrencies can be tiring and hard to explain to someone who has no idea about the cryptoworld.
A CALL TO RADIO UNIPORT 88.5 FM
We were in the middle of brain storming on how to keep moving the mission forward when we got a call from a friend who once came to one of our offline classes at The Offline Minnow School. She would like us to come down to a radio station and talk about blockchain technology using steem as a face. I tell you, steemi/steemit simplifies a lot of technicalities.
THIS WAS THE CLASS THAT INITIATED THE RADIO MEETUP
because of the content oriented mining that separates it from the others.
She already booked the session for next Wednesday. I and some from them team will be going down there next wednesday, to address an audience of over 40000 people who constantly engage with this radio interface. We also, encourage steemians who have been hoping to interact with the team to tune in on that Wednesday. After our presentation, we will be taking some questions through the telephone line.
SOUTH-SOUTH CAMPUS TOUR
We would also use that medium to announce the first campus meetup from our mission to tour the campuses in the south-south region of Nigeria. The main aim of this tour is to increase youth engagement. Here in Nigeria, the major driving force behind the use of tech is the youths. We believe that, if we can increase the awareness of youths about this blockchain, we would get to bring it to the limelight and thereby attracting prospective investors. The first of this tour will be taking place on the campus of the University of Port Harcourt on the third week of February.
And…, that’s it for today guys. Expect more to come from us, we keep receiving invitations after invitations from different sources, but we have to sensor carefully to only prioritize those ones that will add value to the STEEM blockchain rather than take value from it.
