You find my reply offensive,
And now, I must ask,
Should you not have thought of your words then?
Should you not have said it to yourself first?
Should you not have had the taste of it before dishing it out?
Words hold meaning,
This is why we ought to be careful how we speak,
Whatever you say can be heard, and words break a soul,
It makes one weep and suffer because it echoes.
In the ancient world,
Words hold significant meanings to them,
A gentleman and a lady should act appropriately,
Because when words get around, it can damage their reputation,
And this balances the equation.
Words have a big ounce of psychology to it,
It deals with our emotions and all,
This is what births the need for respect,
So that there'll be ultimate balance in all.
A world where there's balance is a beautiful sight,
It urges you awake to see the humans might,
You can speak without being looked down upon,
Because you matter.
However, if a scenario occurs,
Where people speak because they can,
You have the right to give them a fine, no nonsense medicine,
To bring their sanity back to where it belongs.
There's a reason law was made in our world. The need for order has become more of a necessity in our modern world. We all come from different backgrounds and so are trained differently. Even those who are born of the same parents are sometimes trained differently.
The difference between the first and last born is always very obvious and can't be denied. Still, respect should be treated in all areas of life.
However, if things turned out to be the opposition and someone thinks they can talk to you because they have a mouth, I say let them go on for I am right there waiting to hear them speak so I can send them nature's crucial message. If you throw dirt unnecessarily, you should be ready for what the flood will bring.
Saying sorry isn't much of a problem to me in cases where I am wrong. I can apologize profusely even to the smallest human on earth if I did wrong by them.
However, in cases where I am offended, I won't apologize. I have some people calling it stubborn, arrogant, and all. Well, it's their words, not mine, so they can stuff it in their face or nearest trash can.
I have met with people who are simply rude mainly because some see that I have a petite frame and have an innocent face. Haha. Only if they knew, they wouldn't dare.
Although, I don't like my voice being heard, especially in a fight. I'd rather give the person a deadly look, smile, and then work away instead of creating a scene where tons of people will turn detective and start asking questions. Most of those people are nosy and just want something to talk about for the day, and I don't give people that scene in my movie life. There is no time for a detective scene in my life.
However, if I find myself in a situation where I just need to talk, I will make a statement and it'd end there because I am sure whatever I say will shut that person up to bring a counter-attack. And before the detectives or journalists can think of coming around, they won't find me lurking around.
I don't like drama much, but I can be equally dramatic to those who think they are smart talkers. I have their medication at hand and will not bat my eyelid to give them their dosage, and I do have to confess it always feels nice to reminisce on when I get to my safe space.
