Recent Contributions to Hive-Engine Security and Development
Together with , we have recently made several significant contributions to the Hive-Engine ecosystem in the areas of development, security, and network stability:
a) Onboarding of a New Hive-Engine Developer & ResourceManager Implementation
We supported the introduction and onboarding of a new Hive-Engine team developer, including the design and implementation of the ResourceManager contract for multi-transaction fee processing.
→ ResourceManager contract for multi tx fee processing #104
https://github.com/hive-engine/hivesmartcontracts/pull/104
b) Network Monitoring, Analysis, and Mitigation of Active Attacks
We conducted continuous monitoring and in-depth analysis of the network to identify malicious behavior.
This included:
- Detailed analysis of an active attack
- Identification of the attackers
- Proposal of effective countermeasures
- Successful implementation of the mitigation strategy
c) Analysis, Proposal, and Implementation of the Allowlist Mechanism
We analyzed ongoing spam and abuse vectors and proposed the introduction of an allowlist mechanism.
This solution was successfully implemented and led to the effective removal of network spammers.
→ Subscription to allowList #106

Compensation Request
Based on the scope, impact, and technical complexity of the contributions outlined above, we estimate the total value of this work at approximately USD 3,000.
We therefore propose a compensation of 230 BEE per month over a period of 9 months.
The compensation will be shared 50/50 between and
.
We will continue to support Hive-Engine with both advice and active assistance when required.
We are proud to support the long-term health, security, and sustainability of Hive-Engine and hope that our efforts will be recognized accordingly.
With respect,
