In my early experience as an amateur photographer I was constantly on the search for the most beautiful and magnificent places where the best shots could be made.
One of those places I ended up was in a little forest near a castle in a village called 'Zottegem', situated in the south of the province 'East Flanders' (Belgium).
Three giant trees in the middle of the park show their outviyng dominance as their incredible dimensions mock the nearby trees. The tree species( 'giant sequoia', Lebanon cedar and 'Liriodendron') are not indigenous so the seeds must have been brought over from a far country by some travellers, hundreds of years ago.
I was very impressed by their presence and made a bunch of pictures. :-)
