Kenai Small Boat Harbor
Photo taken yesterday, this is a collection of five images, I did not have my tri-pod with me so this was hand held. I still like the ease of use of the Auto Stitch Panoramic Photo program.
There is still a lot of smoke in the air from a few fires burning on the peninsula, we still have not been able to make it into the mountains. To much smoke, while the fires are not close to any small towns or areas of population, the smoke is still a pretty big issue for those with breathing problems. Here is a link to the Swan Lake Fire from the Alaska Forestry Division. The short update was from Saturday the tenth.
Fishing is slowing down a little bit as the season comes to a close. If you click on the larger view and look at the picture on the far right hand side you can see a small platform with a small clump of trees in the wetland areas. That is the Kenai Wetlands area and a lot of birds, the various guess and ducks stop and rest there during their migrations, some even nest in the area. You also get a fabulous view of Redoubt Volcano from the platform.
I think every big view needs a small view. Sometimes we get so used to looking at the overall scenery we can sometimes forget to take a closer look. I am not sure what these little weeds/flowers are, but I thought they looked nice, little globes of fluff just hanging around
They were quite small as you can see from the piece of grass to the left.
All images my own work; even the little separation bar. Below is the link to my steemit feed where you can see what the people, groups, and organizations I follow have been up to.
