Two Panoramic Views
DSLR cameras come with a lot of buttons and settings and functions. Every now and then I like to try a few out. This three frame stitched together image used the Auto Super Vivid setting.
Making the images smaller for upload does take a lot away from the image, I tried with a png image first but did not like what happened to the sky, so re-did the image and saved as a slightly larger jpeg image.
On this one I wanted to include a little bit more of the road since I was using the Photo Illustration setting, it almost looks like a painting. The manual says this setting: "Sharpen outlines and simplify coloring for a poster effect..." I kind of liked the effect for the full size image.
This was also a three frame image stitched together. The stitching program I use use is Autostitch, a free program all they ask is you mention the program name.
Summer is beginning to wind down here in Alaska, fall colors are beginning to creep into the scene. The wetlands are changing from the vibrant greens of summer to the golden hues of fall. We no longer see very many birds other the the seagulls still out and about flying around. I have heard some of the geese and other migratory birds over head beginning their long flight south.
