In an age where language has seemingly recoiled from evolution and turned into a series of commands and emojis, an actual handwritten letter holds value.
I am not good with feelings. I am talkative but an introvert. I like animals more than people and when people are kind I don't know how to react because it goes against my first thought that Humans equal Hurt.
I received a series of hand written pages carefully photographed that were written for me through a Discord private message. My jaw dropped and with my jaded outlook, I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, the time and patience and sheer kindness of the words made a few tears dribble down my face. I also thought I was all out of tears but every time I think that I am proven wrong usually by some form of suffering.
In this case it was Agape type caring/love. I have never met this person and probably never will, I have had opportunities to meet people from Steemit and refuse all of them. There is something secure and safe by not even letting people hear you, much less get to know you.
IN SPITE of my own foibles and challenges this gesture touched my heart deeply. I forgot that I possessed one anymore, then I read pages of what I can only say is a demonstration of the best of what one human being can give to another...
