The Steem Torch!!

It's been such a busy day I almost forgot all about the torch until I saw Hive account@travelgirl's post.

So guess who got the Steem torch late last night courtesy of Hive account@o07?

At first I thought it was like a bat signal sort of torch.

Don't ask. It was late.

It wasn't until I read this that I realised what an honour it was and I immediately said yes.

By the time I got it there was 502 Steem in the kitty and I was the 72nd person in the circle of trust.

Not wanting to be the keeper of such responsibility for a long period of time, I quickly converted SBD to Steem (thank God for Hive account@blocktrades!) and lucky for me Hive account@travelgirl was online and prompt last night and about 8 minutes later the torch was with her.

It was a bit of a case of Hot Potato. From my understanding she had someone lined up in minutes and it was coming to midnight ~ not bad girlfriend, not bad at all!!

Thank you Hive account@geekgirl for initiating Steem torch and the huge circle of trust project that it is. It made me realise how many people I completely trust on Steem and the many friendships and bonds I've made here since 2017.

It also emphasized how the tight, unique and amazing the Steem blockchain really is. I love you Steemit!
