Dear Mosquitoes
I am writing this letter to congratulate you on your big day. It is estimated that 8.7 million species of living organisms are present in this world at the moment and out of those 8.7 million species, human being chose 20th August to celebrate your existence.
I mean seriously, one calendar year has 365 days. Which means human being can celebrate 23835 different kinds of species every day yet we human dedicated an entire day for you. In case you didn't realize, human beings actually love you. If doctor Ronald Ross had not discovered the link between malaria and you, we would not be celebrating this day and you would forever be an insignificant insect.
You kill 1 million people every year which makes you the deadliest creature in the world. This is a far better figure than humans. We only kill half a million. Snakes are even worse. They only kill 100 thousand people. And those stupid sharks who get all the glory in the blockbuster movies, kill only 10 people each year. I think Bats are highly overrated by humans. They are not the real vampires but you are.
You leave us with itchy bumps & medical bills. You ruin our camping holidays. You buzz in our ears when we are trying to sleep yet you don't feature in any Hollywood movie as a monster. You were shown in Jurassic Park not as an antagonist but as a stupid insect which got stuck inside an Amber stone and scientists were shown sticking needles through your anus to get dinosaur DNA.
We, humans, love to kill each other and you are our ultimate biological Atom Bomb. We are bound to coexist together. I hope you have a wonderful evening today. Have an amazing bloodfest.
