WINTER IS ALMOST HERE / STILL LIFE IN THE GARDEN
While walking through the garden yesterday I was amazed at how much life and beauty was still there. It’s not as bold as the bright colors of summer, but it is still stunning.
The sage is in great shape and still usable for cooking. As it gets colder the leaves will drop, but the plant will come back in the spring.
Here are some succulants I planted this year. I can no longer remember their names, but that doesn’t take away from their subtle charm.
Most all of the trees and bushes in the garden have dropped their leaves, but this viburnum bushes still holds its fall color.
The Euphorbia Spinoza has been bitten by frost and lost its freshness, but as it takes its last breath it has turned a beautiful chartreuse.
