So were you able to catch that pump? You know it was courtesy of the Koreans right? I have to say, our friends at Upbit always come through for the community and overall, I think I've fallen head over heels for them.
I've actually never met a Korean before but if they continue pumping Hive like this, I'll have to book one of my holidays in that country. I really don't know much about the country but I know they gave us Samsung and they pump Hive, and that's two solid reasons.
Anyway, I was one of the unfortunates that missed the local peak of this pump because I was being greedy. At the end of the day, I only managed a scalp a little bit from the pump with Hive at around 60 cents.
At the time of writing, Hive is trading below 60 cents and my hunch is that we've actually not seen the end of this pump just yet. Perhaps it is my greed talking but with a trading volume of over $200m on Upbit alone, I really don't think we're at the end of this minor pump cycle.
All I'm saying is that our friends in Korea are probably going to be sending Hive a bit closer to the $1 range in this pump cycle. This is not financial advice, by the way, I'm just airing a hunch that is based on the relatively crazy trading volume and previous Korean-sponsored pumps we've experienced around here.
A HBD pump will bang
Hello my lovely Koreans, I wanted to mention that we have an algo stable coin on Hive that you recently pumped like crazy and another pump will be 100% welcomed. If you're feeling up for it, is it possible that you could consider pumping it up to $5-7 range in the next 24 hours?
The last time we had a flash pump in HBD, I didn't have enough liquid to take advantage of the situation. However, today, things are much different and a considerable pump in the value of HBD will be the type of miracle I'm looking for.
If any of the Korean pumpers can see this publication, I plead with thee, pump HBD aggressively and help me raise funds for my relocation. That's all I ask of you awesome people.
In summary
These pumps always come out of left field and that's the most frustrating part of it. Don't get me wrong, I like the pumps and can't complain about my bags getting more valuable.
At the same time, it sort of makes me wonder what the motive might be and whether this is just how Hive will always be. As awesome as the pumps may be, I kind of worry about the sustainability and the long-term potential.
Is Hive just a plaything for the lovely Koreans of Upbit or is there more to it? Time will tell but until then, please just pump HBD guys, I need it.
