As I was heading to the beach, the establishment on the shore caught my attention because of its curious sculptures. At first, I thought it was a hotel. The place is white with turquoise accents, and its excellent location offers a beautiful view of the sculptures to those passing by.
After taking a stroll around the back of the building and admiring the beautiful and charming beach, I headed towards this area to get a closer look at the sculptures. The entrance features a beautiful mural that reads "Carúpano, a place to return to." The letters are decorated with tourist and cultural elements of this beautiful town: a boat, whales, and birds, including the scarlet ibis (Corocoras), which are abundant in this area and are one of the city's emblematic figures. The murals are colorful and typical of the region. On the letter "O," part of the flag of Sucre state is visible, with its white stars on the blue stripe. The decoration also includes a lovely red heart made of flamingos, which can also be seen in the "I Love Carúpano" plaza. I liked this beautiful mural for its vibrant colors and the flamingo heart.

I believe the artist considered every detail and the color palette used in the lettering to create an appealing and eye-catching design. Part of the walkway leading to Tío Pedro beach is also visible.
Hola, hola amigos viajeros en todo el mundo, es un placer saludarles deseo que tengan una excelente y bendecida semana, en esta ocasión les comparto mi visita a un local ubicado cerca de la playa tío Pedro en Carúpano, este además de ofrecer deliciosas comidas, destaca por sus llamativas decoraciones con esculturas de peces, cuando me dirigía a la playa mencionada me llamó la atención el establecimiento que se encuentra en la orilla de la playa por sus curiosas esculturas, al principio pensé que era un hotel, el local es de color blanco con turquesa y por su excelente ubicación ofrece una hermosa vista de las esculturas a quienes se desplazan por esta zona.
Luego de hacer un recorrido por la parte trasera del local, observar la hermosa y encantadora playa, me dirigí hacia este lugar para mirar de cerca las esculturas, la entrada tiene un hermoso mural que dice "Carúpano un lugar para volver", las letras están decoradas con los elementos turísticos y culturales de esta hermosa población, un bote, peces ballenas, aves, entre ellas las Corocoras o Flamimgos, que abundan en esta zona, además constituyen una de las figuras emblemáticas de la ciudad y coloridos murales típicos de la región, en la letra "O", se observa parte de la bandera del estado Sucre, con sus estrellas blancas en la franja de color azul, la decoración cuenta también con un lindo corazón de color rojo, formado por flamingos, estos también se pueden observar en la plaza Yo amo a Carúpano, me gustó este lindo mural por sus vibrantes colores y el corazón de flamingos.
Sin duda, este mural con sus vibrantes colores y fondo de color azul, es un gran atractivo para los visitantes, creo que el artista pensó en cada detalle y la paleta de colores a emplear en la decoración de las letras para crear un atractivo y llamativo diseño; al fondo de la palabra Carúpano se observa el sol con los colores rojo y amarillo, indicando el atardecer, los flamingos se ubican en la esquina formando un hermoso corazón con el cuello, también se aprecia parte de la caminería que conduce a la playa tío Pedro

The important thing is that they are very striking sculptures and appear realistic due to their grayish color. They look like dolphins and yet they don't, haha, a fun little confusion. Upon closer inspection, you can see the tail, the upper and lower fins, and the zigzag-shaped dorsal fin. Here I go again with the riddle: to be honest, it's the first time I've seen this type of fin. I really don't know what animal they belong to. The eyes are very beautiful, and the sculpture blends in very well with the landscape, giving the impression that it's flying.
On the other post, there is a striking fish, its scales, fins, and tail detailed. It is also made of concrete, and I liked the artist's attention to detail in tracing the lines on the fins and scales. Its mouth is open, the eye looks very nice, and it is hugging the column. Several concrete circles can also be seen, which I believe are the bubbles as it breathes.
My curiosity to know the name of this curious animal led me to talk to the security guard at the shop. It was funny because without me having asked or uttered a word, he said, "Surely you want to know the names of the animals in the sculptures. I saw how you were looking at them and your face of astonishment. Many people have come up to ask me, and I don't know the name. I can only tell you that it's very curious and attractive to visitors." While this kind gentleman was talking, I think my face of disappointment was noticeable because in the end he said, "No, you're not the first one to leave without knowing the name of the sculpture."
The man's attitude made me laugh, because I tried to console myself for my disappointment. I thanked him for helping me and continued on my way to another beach in the area. On the way, I thought about the phrase on the mural. Perhaps, since it's a place to return to, on my next visit I can learn the names of these curious sculptures, which I liked very much. Their design and details are beautiful and with a very neat finish.
Las hermosas esculturas de los peces se ubican en unos postes al lado del mural, estos forman un pasillo que conduce hasta la entrada del establecimiento, están hechos de concreto y mi primera impresión fue creer que se trataba de unos delfines, pero por la forma de la boca puntiaguda y las aletas parece ser de otra familia marina, aunque la cola es similar a la de un delfín y los cetáceos, tal vez sea, una mezcla de pez con delfín, el punto importante es que son esculturas muy llamativas y parecen realistas por su color grisáceo, parecen delfines y a la vez no, jeje una pequeña y divertida confusión, observándolo de cerca se detallan la cola, las aletas superiores e inferiores y la aleta dorsal que tiene forma de zigzag, aquí voy nuevamentre con el acertijo, para ser honesta es la primera vez que veo este tipo de aletas, realmente desconozco a que animal pertenecen, los ojos se ven muy bonitos y la escultura combina muy bien con el paisaje, da la impresión que está volando.
En el otro poste, se encuentra un llamativo pez y se detallan sus escamas, aletas y cola, está también hecho de concreto y me gustó la atención al detalle del artista al trazar las líneas en las aletas y escamas, tiene la boca abierta, el ojo se ve muy bonito y está abrazado a la columna, se observan también varios círculos de concreto, los cuales creo que son las burbujas mientras respira.
La curiosidad por saber el nombre de este curioso animal, me llevó a conversar con el vigilante del local, fue gracioso porque sin haber preguntado o articular alguna palabra, me dijo seguro quieres saber los nombres de los animales en las esculturas, vi cómo las observabas y la cara de asombro, muchas personas se han acercado a preguntarme y no se el nombre, solo te puedo decir que es muy curiosa y atractiva para los visitantes, mientras este amable señor hablaba, creo que mí cara de decepción fue notable, porque al final me dijo, no eres la primera que se va sin saber el nombre de la escultura.
Me causó risa la actitud del señor, porque intentó consolar mi decepción, le di las gracias por atenderme y continúe mi camino hacia otra playa de la zona, en el camino pensaba en la frase del mural, tal vez como es un lugar para volver, en mi próxima visita pueda conocer los nombres de estas curiosas esculturas, que me gustaron mucho, su diseño y detalles son hermosos y con un gran acabado prolijo.
