Más que un día comercial, en el cual se acostumbra a darle obsequios a la Madre, celebrar y compartir en familia es un recordatorio que nos invita a amar y cuidar a ese ser especial enviado a cada hogar y para cuidar a los niños, darle amor y brindarles un hogar lleno de armonía y unión, dónde pueden aprender los valores esenciales para su desenvolvimiento en la sociedad, más allá de la tradicional celebración, es un día donde se reconoce el gran trabajo que realiza la mujer en casa y fuera de esta, para contribuir con el mantenimiento del hogar y el bienestar de todos sus miembros, por ello cada día debemos honrar y valorar a nuestras madres, desde que estamos pequeños ellas con mucho amor se esmeran en brindar los mejores cuidados a los pequeñines y demás integrantes de la familia.
El Texto Sagrado, señala que el valor de una Mujer es de más alta estima que las piedras preciosas y ninguna de ellas supera el valor que tiene la Madre además en este fragmento se mencionan varias características de la madre y las diversas actividades que realiza en casa contribuyendo enormemente al fortalecimiento de las bases del hogar.

Tal vez cuando somos adolescentes y jóvenes no entendemos el real valor de una madre y los consejos que ella nos da, el furor y la etapa de la juventud nos hace pensar que sabemos todo respecto a la vida, pero cuando somos Madre es que realmente logramos entender y comprender cuánto vale una madre y cada sacrificio que hace por sus hijos; aún enferma, con poca fuerza y dolor se levanta con la mejor disposición para atender a sus hijos lo mejor posible y con la satisfacción de hacer cada día su trabajo con amor en pro de la familia.
Es imposible pagar todo el trabajo que realiza una madre para formar y levantar los suyos, los desvelos cuidando a los hijos cuando se enferman, es impagable, no hay una forma o receta mágica para devolverle a una mamá las muchas horas cuidando y amamantando en la madrugada, con poco descanso, pero allí firme para dar lo mejor de sí a su hijo, es una dedicación exclusiva de cuidado en los primeros años de vida, ya que el niño este requiere atención específica como alimentarlo, cambiar los pañales, bañarlo entre otros y aún después de una cesárea, alli está mamá cuidando a su hijo, dejando a un lado el dolor por la operación y todo lo que ello implica, el padre celestial dotó a la mujer con grandes habilidades talentos y roles, uno de ellos es ser Madre, concebir y llevar un ser en el vientre durante 9 meses pareciera ser sencillo y trivial, pero traer un nuevo ser al mundo implica cambios hormonales, emocionales entre otros que se nan asimilando progresivamente a la vez que preparan a la futura madre para la llegada del hijo, pudiese escribir muchas líneas explicando los cambios que experimenta una madre en la gestación, lo que quiero resaltar es el valor que tiene la Madre y no solo un día en el calendario, todos los días merece ser honrada por su ardua labor, brindarle apoyo y cuidado en la vejez es una forma de valorar y agradecer todo lo que hizo por su familia, durante la juventud cuando tenía fuerza y vitalidad.
