We are just a few days away from the end of May and the beginning of the first quarter of the year. It is my wish that next month will be filled with great blessings, health, love, and prosperity in every home. On this occasion, I'm sharing a tour of downtown Cumaná, the capital of Sucre state, specifically the Andrés Eloy Blanco Bridge on Bermúdez Street and Guaiquerí Park. Both are important landmarks and meeting points for the residents of this region. The bridge was remodeled a few years ago and has new railings, lighting, and a new floor. Along this stretch of street, you can see Guaiquerí Park, a space surrounded by nature, ideal for those who love outdoor activities and admiring and enjoying nature.
I explored this part of the city in the morning and afternoon, as I had to attend several events in the city's historic center. After stopping at the park, I headed towards the bridge because I needed to get to the Andrés Eloy Blanco House and the Luis Mariano Rivera Theater. I took several photos of the bridge and the Manzanares River, one of the city's most important waterways and an integral part of its rich history.
Hola amigos viajeros, es un placer saludarles deseando que tengan un excelente y bendecido día en unión de sus seres queridos, estamos a pocos día de finalizar el mes de Mayo para dar inicio al primer trimestre del año, es mi deseo que el próximo mes venga cargado de grandes bendiciones, salud, amor y prosperidad en cada hogar; en esta ocasión les comparto un recorrido por el centro de la ciudad Cumaná, capital del estado Sucre específicamente el puente Andrés Eloy Blanco en la calle Bermúdez y el parque Guaiquerí, ambos constituyen importantes puntos de referencia y encuentro para los habitantes de esta región, el puente fue remodelado hace poco años y cuenta con nuevas barandas, luces piso, por este tramo de la calle se observa el parque Guaiquerí, un espacio rodeado de naturaleza ideal para quienes aman las actividades al aire libre, admirar y disfrutar el contacto con la naturaleza.
Mi recorrido por esta zona de la ciudad lo realicé en horas de la mañana y la tarde, ya que tuve que asistir a diferentes actividades en el casco histórico de la ciudad, luego de quedarme en la parada del parque avancé hacia el puente pues debía dirigirme hacia la casa Andrés Eloy Blanco y el teatro Luis Mariano Rivera, tomé varias fotografías del puente y el río Manzanares, uno de los cursos de agua más importantes de la ciudad y que además forma parte de su interesante historia.
Around midday, we headed to Guaiquerí Park to rest a bit, recharge our batteries, and then head back to the Luis Mariano Rivera Theater for our activities. Guaiquerí Park has walkways, kiosks, and spaces for family fun. It also has a bio-healthy park, sports courts, and other areas where different sports activities take place. It's one of my favorite places to relax, contemplate nature, enjoy the birdsong, the squirrels scampering about, and the fresh breeze, all of which are pleasant and perfect for relaxing in a natural setting.
The Manzanares River flowing behind the park adds a beautiful view. Along the river's course through the park, there are two small, brightly colored iron bridges or walkways. While we were looking for a place to sit and rest, I took several photos of the river, the bridges, and some of the trees. These trees stand out for their large size and the unusual shapes of their roots and trunks. After finding a pleasant spot under a tree with an excellent view of the river, we had lunch and spent about an hour in the park before heading to the activity that would take place at the Theater; it was a day full of activities but very productive and in which we had the opportunity to visit this beautiful park to relax and enjoy the birds singing.
En horas del mediodía, nos dirigimos al parque Guaiquerí para descansar un poco, recargar energía y volver nuevamente a las actividades en el teatro Luis Mariano Rivera, el parque Guaiquerí cuenta con caminerías, kioscos y espacios para la diversión familiar, también tiene un parque bio saludable, canchas y otros espacios donde se realizan diferentes actividades deportivas; es uno de mis lugares favoritos, para relajarme contemplar la naturaleza, disfrutar el canto de las aves, el corretear de las ardillas y la fresca brisa de este lugar que son agradables y perfectas para un buen relax en un entorno natural.
Además la presencia del río Manzanares en la parte posterior, le asigna una hermosa vista, en el trayecto del río por el parque se encuentran dos pequeños puentes o caminerías de hierro con llamativos colores, mientras buscábamos un lugar para sentarnos y descansar, tomé varias fotos del río, los puentes y algunos árboles del lugar, estos árboles destacan por su gran tamaño y forma extraña en sus raíces y troncos; luego de conseguir un agradable lugar debajo de un árbol y con una excelente vista al río, almorzamos y durante aproximadamente una hora, estuvimos en el parque para luego dirigirnos a la actividad que se desarrollaría en el Teatro; fue un día de muchas actividades pero muy productivo y en el cual tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar este hermoso parque para relajarnos y disfrutar el canto de las aves.
After completing my activities at the aforementioned institutions, in the afternoon I went to Ayacucho Park, as I was meeting some friends. We took the opportunity to go for a short walk in this beautiful place. Ayacucho Park, as I mentioned, has various recreational areas for children and adults, as well as a skateboard park where enthusiasts of this sport have the necessary facilities for practice and exhibitions. Since we wanted a place away from the noise of the city, we settled in the back of the park, very close to the park. There are several concrete benches there, and we sat near the river and chatted, enjoying the sunset and the cool breeze. It was a busy day, but in the end, I had the chance to relax on the riverbank, observing the scenery and the sunset.
Luego de cumplir con mis actividades en las mencionadas instituciones, en horas de la tarde me dirigí al parque Ayacucho, pues debía reunirme con unas amigas y aprovechamos para hacer una pequeña caminata por este hermoso lugar, el parque Ayacucho, como ya lo he mencionado cuenta con diferentes espacios recreativos para niños y adultos, además una pista de skateboard donde los amantes de este deporte, cuentan con las instalaciones necesarias para realizar prácticas y exhibiciones, como queríamos un lugar alejado del ruido de la ciudad, nos ubicamos en la parte posterior del parque muy cerca de la pista, allí hay varios bancos de concreto, nos sentamos cerca del río y conversamos aprovechando el ocaso del sol y la fresca brisa, fue un día de muchass ocupaciopnes pero al final tuve la oportunidad de relajarme en la ribera del río observando el paisaje y el atardecer.
