Bolivian 'skull' monkeys

These monkeys can wander around freely in the specialized zoo Apenheul in Apeldoorn (the Netherlands). So you may not be surprised when one of them comes to sit on your shoulder! The Bolivian 'skull' monkeys can turn about 15 - 20 years. The females are the boss in the group, the males have the lowest rank. The males are actually only wanted by the females in the mating season.
