Hidden in plane sight, this little suck rock throws out epic little right hand backdoor barrels.
It only works when the surf is small and the swell and wind direction are very specific but if you get it good, you get it to yourself and it is a blast. Short but sweet!
This was the afternoon i discovered it. I had suspected there may be a wave here but hadn't seen it in the right conditions plus i also thought it would be a left... not a right hander.
I shot sunset capturing images like this half torn whether i should just bail and go get my board and come back. But it is quite a drive/walk to go all that way so decided i'd just hang out snap it and observe it. Damn it got me stoked! Came back the next day and had it to myself. And it's now my favorite novelty reef of all time.
