I show you this drawing from a couple of months ago that I made from a picture I saw that I liked a lot because of the warm tones and I liked it even more because the person's skin is brown.
I was very excited when I did it, when I drew it and when I started coloring it because I liked the colors of the image, a very colorful and striking image.
I drew it and when I started coloring it was a little confusing because I have no experience with brown skin tones are the most complex from my point of view as an artist and with all the experience I have because I have to find a balance between dark and light tones and not only that but I have to pay attention which are the skin tones that predominate more if the skin is more yellowish, more bluish, more pinkish or darker in this case brownish and it is something to be careful because if I do not pay the proper attention to the corresponding colors I can go from one skin tone to another just by making a mistake with a color.
In fact in the eyes and cheeks I got confused by the skin tones of the person because it is a person with light brown skin and I made it lighter than it really is but I still liked it because I took it as practice.
I liked doing it even though I finished it in almost 3 months because of how difficult it was to do the skin, I still love it and it is one of the drawings that I enjoy the most to see.
In the background I put some spots and some flowers because I want to reach my own style and I didn't want it to look empty or common by just drawing an image from the Internet and it was a wonderful choice because I love how everything fits together and the background and the flowers are simple and make the drawing stand out and the realism of the face calls you to see it.
I hope you enjoy the process of my work as much as I do:
