More often than not i hear girls saying that they want to be looking as models on the cover of a magazine. And that would be ok, but often they are taking extreme measures to match the image on that cover which sometimes results in a disaster.

I always keep telling them that the image that you see is almost always far from reality, i know this as i am a photographer and i do the retouching. Most of the time we see only an enhanced version of the image which has little in common with the model itself.

In this shot you can see the pins used to make the dress look better as it was too big for the model, you would not see that in the final shot of course, but this is just a little illustration how deceiving the things can be :)
