Hello everyone! How are you? Today I'd like to tell you about a channel I really like, but that I've been watching more recently: Lesma VR. It's a true crime channel, and I've always been drawn to this genre, which is why I'm always watching CSI, Law & Order, and so on. But this channel focuses on real crimes, not fiction, and its narrator takes us through the events in her in-depth investigation. Her voice is silky smooth, very subtle, but her narration isn't monotonous at all; on the contrary, it perfectly maintains the audience's attention. Furthermore, her editing style demonstrates the professionalism of the channel, as she uses very attractive visuals that complement her narrative.
¡Hola hola, gente de internet! ¿Cómo están? Hoy me gustaría hablarles de un canal que me gusta mucho pero que he estado viendo más recientemente, se trata del canal de Lesma VR, uno que está dentro del género True Crimme, osea de crímenes reales, y es que siempre me ha llamado la atención este género, por eso siempre estoy viendo C.S.I, La Ley y El Orden, en fin. Pero este canal se enfoca en crímenes reales, no de ficción, y su narradora nos lleva a través de los hechos en su profunda investigación. La voz de ella es sedosa, muy sutil, pero aún así su relato no es monótono sino todo lo contrario, mantiene perfectamente la atención de la audiencia y además su manera de editar denota todo el profesionalismo que hay en su canal, ya que usa recursos visuales muy atractivos que van en cohesión con su narrativa.
Almost all of her videos feature authentic audiovisual material; that is, they are not recreations or dramatizations. Even in these aspects, technology has played a role, providing more information for investigations and helping to solve crimes. For example, in the most recent case in Mexico, the mother-in-law who killed her daughter-in-law, a former beauty queen, shocked the world due to the coldness of both the woman and the husband. On her YouTube channel, Lesma shows security camera footage that reveals part of how the crime unfolded—compelling evidence that the justice system used to solve the case. What I like most about Lesma is that she provides excellent context, not only about the events themselves but also going back to the victim's childhood so that the audience can get to know her better and empathize more deeply. In this specific case, what hurt me the most is that there was a baby involved, and according to what is said, the baby's father allowed the little one to feed on his dead mother's milk while (this is something that comes up in Lesma's video but I've seen it on other channels and I find it abhorrent)
Casi todos sus videos cuentan con material audiovisual autentico, osea, no son recreaciones o dramatizaciones, ya que hoy en día hasta en eso la tecnología a influido, otorgando más información para las investigaciones, ayudando a resolver crímenes, por ejemplo en el caso más reciente, lo que sucedió en México de la suegra que mató a la nuera, ex reina de belleza, eso conmocionó al mundo por la frialdad de la mujer pero también del esposo. En este canal de youtube Lesma muestra un video de una cámara de seguridad que muestra parte de como fue el crimen, una evidencia contúndete que fue lo que la justicia usó para esclarecer ele hecho. Lo que más me gusta de Lesma es que ella da un muy buen contexto, no solo de los hechos, sino que se remonta a la mismísima infancia de la víctima para que la audiencia pueda conocerla mejor y así empatizar más. En este caso específico lo que más me dolió es que hubo un bebé de por medio, y según se dice, el padre del bebé permitió que el pequeño se alimentara de la leche de su madre muerta mientras (esto es algo que en sale en el video de Lesma pero lo he visto en otros canales y me parece abominable)
But despite the channel's overall theme, she also has some personal vlogs. There aren't many; in fact, I recently found the one I'm about to share, and it's clearly older. But I think it helps the audience understand her channel a bit better. This way, we know she's Guatemalan but lives in Andorra. Seeing this side of the channel's host and owner's life also serves as a kind of "relief," so to speak, from the heavy content she usually has. Because even though I'm a fan of this genre, I can't deny that it can leave you with a somewhat oppressive feeling. So, yes, it's nice to see some very different content on the same channel.
Pero a pesar de toda la temática del canal ella también cuenta con algunos Vlogs personales, no son muchos, de hecho este que voy a compartir con ustedes lo encontré recientemente y se nota que tiene ya algún tiempo, pero pienso que ayuda a la audiencia a darle un poco más de contexto a su canal, de esta manera sabemos que ella es guatemalteca pero que vive en Andorra. Ver esta faceta de la vida de la moderadora y dueña del canal sirve también como una especie de "alivio", por llamarlo de alguna forma, del contenido tan pesado que tiene, porque a pesar de que soy fan de este genero, no puedo dejar de reconocer que uno se queda como con una sensación opresiva, así que pues sí, se agradece ver un contenido muy diferente dentro del mismo canal.
