It is often said that if something sounds too good to be true, chances are that it most likely is. But what I'm about to tell you is not only incredible but to many people nothing more than sheer fantasy. According to doctors and the pharmaceutical industry, there is no cure for cancer at this present time. Granted there are many new promising treatments in the pipeline but for some reason, they always seem to be at least 5 years away. But what my mother went through when I was only 12 years of age is absolute proof that there is a cure for cancer and has been even 35 years ago.
At the age of 30, my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the uterus. The doctor told her that she had about 3 to 6 months to live and her only option was to undergo chemotherapy which in the 80’s was an absolutely brutal treatment. As a 12-year-old child, I clearly remember that awful day at the old Panch hospital in Melbourne Australia. I remember my mother coming out of the consultation room looking very stressed and like she had been crying. I knew that something was seriously wrong but at the time both my parents decided not to share the devastating news with me and my younger brother.
As far as both my parents were concerned the chemotherapy was out of the question and there was no guarantee that it would have had any effect on stage 4 cancer. A couple of days later we went to visit an old Bulgarian herbalist by the name of Mitko Ivanov. My dad had heard of him through some close friends of the family and according to them, they knew of someone he had been cured of cancer a couple of years back. Having no other choice at the time, both my parents were optimistic and eager to find out what he could possibly do for someone in my mom's situation. He asked my mom a number of health related questions and recommended the following:
• There were a number of different herbs and from memory, my mom can only recall Camellia Sinensis and Nettle which were boiled into tea's and my mother would drink them daily. There was a number of other herbs that were part of the protocol but unfortunately, it was so very long ago it is hard for my mom to remember.
• She had to eliminate all meat and processed foods from her diet and eat mainly vegetables, raw honey, small amounts of fruit, nuts, and seeds. The diet was highly alkaline and I distinctly remember me and my brother complaining and being puzzled at why we weren’t allowed to have any junk food in the house.
• My mother also had to sit in a special basin filled with cold water and ice every morning for 10 minutes while brushing her stomach with a soft bristle brush. The actual ice cubes were also a combination of boiled herbs that were frozen overnight.
• I remember my dad sitting both me and my brother down and telling us that our mother was very sick and that we needed to be on our best behavior while she tries to get better. So any sort of stress or negative atmosphere was totally out of the question during her healing period. My dad also made sure that any friends or family that came to visit and were aware of my mother’s illness were not to talk about it when they came over.
A year later almost to the day of her original diagnosis she went back to the same hospital to run some tests. By this time my mom was feeling amazing and new inherently that her cancer was no longer a part of her. Nevertheless, she wanted to find out for sure and put any doubts to rest. Incidentally, the same nurse that was present when my mom had received her devastating news a year earlier was actually working that day. She was absolutely shocked to see my mom still alive after all this time knowing how serious her diagnosis was at the time. She was also surprised to see how healthy and vibrant my mother looked considering she had stage four cancer. She even gave my mother a hard time for not coming back earlier to undergo her chemotherapy. You would think that if someone had been given 3 to 6 months to live and were now standing in front of you 12 months later, looking healthier than ever, it would at least trigger your curiosity.
My mom got her blood work done and came back a week later to see her oncologist. He to was also very surprised to see my mom, let alone looking as good as she did. But the real surprise for him was when he looked at her results. There was absolutely no sign of cancer from the initial diagnosis and both my mom and dad distinctly remember him looking rather puzzled and perplexed by the results. He asked my mom what she had been doing for the past 12 months. When my mom explained the entire protocol he simply looked at her and said, “you’re a very lucky woman Mrs. Veleski and this, in my opinion, is nothing short of a miracle. I wish you all the best in the future”. That was it. No interest in the holistic steps that my mother had taken to treat herself from cancer or even an acknowledgment that the treatment had worked. I guess when you think about it, why would he be interested in a cure that doesn’t really cost all that much. When you consider that an 8-week stint of chemotherapy costs around $30,000, the pharmaceutical companies would be crazy to adopt treatments that are less expensive and actually work.
My mother is still alive to this day and has not had any relapse since her protocol. I hope you’ve enjoyed my story.
