Ok, I will start with a disclaimer. I am not a Star Wars fan. It is not that I don't like it. It is just that I don't have enough influence to know it. However, watching this Solo: A Star Wars movie makes me want to watch other Star Wars film. My cousin said to me that I was losing half of my life since I don't know this movie franchise well. But I recognize some characters thru TV Commercials. Is it so? So as per invite, I was tempted to watch this movie.
First and foremost, I thought that this type of genre is a bit over-acting for me but I was wrong. The movie is futuristic and makes me wonder what if there are other races existing outside our galaxy. Is our race left behind by this alien people? Or do they have a human figure like us?
I enjoyed the film. Most especially the part where they escape a planet after stealing Coaxium ( hope I spelled it right). I do love as well the plot twist. The pivotal character, Han Solo is an admirable man. Well, I do admire the character played by Alden Ehrenreich which was formerly played by Harrison Ford. His humor, intellectual tactics, fighting abilities really sell a lot. The plot twist is an expected especially on the scene inside the room of Dryden Vos played by Paul Bettany ( well two contiguous excellent movies for this actor who plays Vision in MCU). There was a quick turning of fate with these characters. It is just that I can't guess what will happen next.
Also, it surprises me that villains are not the villains and the friends are really the enemies which is still friends in the end part. Oh just see the movie. The spoilers I gave here is enough. I don't want to ruin your movie experience with this blog :)
On towards the ending, it really breaks my heart when Kira played by Emilia Clarke left Han Solo on a deserted planet where they are supposed to be lovers since they were young. Bleeding love.
After watching the movie with my cousin, I feel relaxed and recharged. The film is just so cool like the main character Han Solo. Wish I could watch more of this
