Around this time last year, my friend and I went to a spontaneous trip to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and embarked an adventure beyond our expectations. The city was promising; it was filled with beautiful scenery, good food and rich cultural heritage. We couldn't help but notice the temples that were beautifully designed and intricately detailed. One of my favorites was the Cao Dai Temple
(Excuse my awkward pose)
Visitors are allowed to enter the temple provided that their knees are clothed and their shoes are off. We were lucky enough to enter the temple and breathe in its beauty. This is a closer look of the intricate details of the temple:
The temple is a combination of Neo-Gothic, Baroque and Oriental design
Inside, the worshippers are dressed in long robes and would stay there for hours. We stayed there for a couple of minutes to observe.
