Did you hear the story recently of Dylan McWilliams?
He was surfing in Hawaii when he was attacked and bitten on the leg by shark! OUCH!
Fortunately, he survived that incident by kicking the shark repeatedly until it let go and thought better of its food source.
Actually, sharks don’t attack people to “eat” them. It’s more of a reaction to the flailing in the water. They think you are wounded pray, but when they bite into a human, they’re usually not happy with the choice and will let go.
But even more strange is that less than a year before that, Dylan was awakened in the early morning while sleeping in a tent. A 300-pound bear had Dylan’s head in his mouth and was dragging him, likely off into the woods.
This is a much more dangerous situation than the shark.
But once again, Dylan fought off the bear, kicking and punching it until it let go.
You sure must give McWilliams credit for his “fight” and ability to get out of potentially deadly situations.
Fortunately, I can’t say I’ve been in such a situation with a wild animal. I’ve my share of bears, big cats and other dangerous animals in the wild, but not up “close” and personal like that.
I’ve put myself in situations that other people might not like. Such as driving an actual F1 car at about 180 miles per hour on the track in Barcelona. Or flying in a stunt glider or flying over rocky terrain at the side of cliff in a Baja Buggy.
But I’m putting myself in those situations on purpose and I do everything I can to mitigate the risk. I do have “fear” that keeps me from putting myself in harm’s way.
OK, I don’t like pain, I admit it!
But here’s the point.
Whether you seek the adventure of the outdoors, or you want to squirrel suit jump or drive an F1 car on an F1 track, you can do it.
When you have a business that runs on “auto-pilot,” 24/7, such as a successful online affiliate business, you can take the time to have fun and enjoy life. On your terms, whatever those terms are.
You can be a thrill seeker or lye on the beach sipping your favorite beverage – your choice.
That’s what I get to do most of the time – most of the year!
And if you’d like to learn how to do that as well, let’s talk!
I’m accepting a limited number of personal consultations right now. I usually charge a lot of money for these, but right now, I’m offering you the opportunity to talk with me and see how you can “live life on your terms.” FREE!
