How not to modify your lens (interesting result)

Modifying Helios 44M-4

Helios is a cheap lens made mostly for analog cameras and it was made in great numbers. You can find few versions of Helios 44 and i think you can do this on all of them. If you are living in Europe you probably have more luck as you could find it for 15-20$ because cameras that had this lens were widely used here. Here in Serbia you could find it with a working Zenit camera for 20-25$.

And don't be scared, it is not that hard to modify it :) And the process in the video is fine you can just be more careful :)
