Hello everyone
Greetings to you all in this great community it's a beautiful day out here and I'm sincerely having a great time with my needle and thread, doing what I know how to do best and I hope you all are having lovely time out there as well at your respective places. On this beautiful day, I will be sharing with you the making a double pocket phone pouch without zipper, pressing button but with two handles to secure the flip cover and the items in it. It is stylish, unique and with a beautiful outcome.
Let's get started with the cutting and sewing process
I measured and cut out 18 x 10" on my desired fabric with interfacing ironed on it and the same measurement of lining was cut out as well to turn it inside out
On the interfacing side, I measured 3" at the center downward and 0.5" to the left and right
The main fabric was placed on the lining and I sewn together following the line I made and leaving an opening at the down part where it can be turned inside out
After sewing, it was turned inside out through the opening, ironed and top stitched round
Then I folded it to where the opening stopped just to locate where the handle will be and I marked on it
For the handle, I measured and cut out 18 x 2 " and 9 x 2" which was folded and sewn together on both sides
Each of the handle was sewn to the point where I marked
The phone pouch was folded in two then I sew it together on the other side and at the bottom
This is how it looks with my phone inserted in it
I passed the longer handle through the small one to secure the flip and the phone together with the longer one as the handle.
My double pocket phone pouch is ready for use and I hope you like the stylish design and beautiful outcome of it.
