Hello everyone

It's another beautiful day and I bring you a warm greetings from my sewing room, I hope you are all doing great just as I am doing here, it's my pleasure to share with you in this great community this simple and creative design of a double color fabric flower for my little niece hair clip.

Making different types of flowers using fabric has been what I cherish so much with the fact that it helps to minimize waste of fabrics and also it make me to have my own customize accessories to make other designs on the outfit I make. With this I can also use it to make patches on bags, cap as so on.
Let me take you through the simple step by step process to achieve this beautiful fabric flower
First thing I did was to get the pieces of fabric I intend to use which is blue and red, you can combine other colors as far as the colors will be a matching color, then I measured a circle with the diameter of 3" this circle was use to cut 3 pieces of blue and 2 pieces of red all together I have 5 circles

Each circle was folded in two just as seen below to create the bases of the flower

I fixed I long thread to my hand needle and it was used to run a long stitch at the top of the circle where it was folded together

The blue was the first circle I picked then followed by the red color which was folded same was and the same process was used to sew it.

I picked another red and then blue at intervals until the last piece

It was gathered together and I noticed that I have same colors together which will not give me the perfect color combination I needed

I went ahead to cut out another piece of red circle to make the total of 6 circles 3 red and 3 blue and it was finally gathered together

As it was gathered together, I have a rough center which I decided to use my gum and silver applique to cover for neat and beautiful finishing.

This is the final outcome though I will have to fix my clip to it for it to serve it purpose before it is being presented to my little niece.

I hope you like the beautiful outcome. Join me in my next post for other beautiful diy creativity and craft from my sewing room.
