I decided to arrange and categorize my thoughts in sharing my daily experiences so I could summarize my day well. And here it goes:
My Day's Highlight
The best part of my day yet is seeing my daughter enjoying the pizza I bought from a nearby supermarket. She doesn't like to eat anything aside from rice and soup and... pizza! Here's the snap of my lovely girl getting her slice for snacks:
Lesson/s Learned
Today, I am reminded to seriously take caution while driving, especially when traversing the main road. Just witnessed a car rammed into a delivery truck that resulted in heavy traffic. Accident is called an accident because it happens when you least expect it. Let's be careful: ALWAYS.
What Made Me Happy Today
My family is the source of my happiness. My husband and my child, they made my day bright, as usual today.
Also, I feel fierce and pretty wearing red today. Okay, pretty, at least, in my own eyes. Hahahaha!
Bits and Pieces
Today, 4th of May 2018, is the first day of the campaign period for the Barangay (Village) Elections in the Philippines. Because I have 2 branches of my bakery business, I actually visited 2 barangays within 2 hours (the third Barangay would be my home address) and was able to observe how the candidates make their moves to ensure votes. Posters, tarpaulins everywhere: on trees, posts or any vacant spots where they could display their names and faces. There are common poster areas but many were not following the rules. Oh, well, I just sighed. The actual election day will be on May 14, 2018.
