For months now Southeast Texas has been well over the 80s. Heat index makes it feel well over 90 into the 100s. Its been quite miserable. We had a small amount of snow fall recently, but the temps quickly rose gain into the 80s. Finally we hit below freezing. It'll be this way for a few days then it'll warm back up.

I am so thankful that its turn cold and is freezing. Southeast Texas has major bug problems. With the freezing temperatures it will hopefully kill all the mosquitoes, bees, and make the snakes go hide. They seem to have multiplied between these cold spells and won't go away.

Since joining Steemit I Have Met so many people. I never even though about Christmas Being Sunny And Hot Until Hive account@joanstewart shared a post the otherday. We can sometimes go to the beach but is is far to cold to go swimming. She shared some really cool pictures of the beaches in South Africa. Then someone shared some information on SteemThat about their fun Holidays in Australia. The kangaroos are the only ones opening up all of the presents because of the heat! Loved that line.

Here is a picture we were able to snap the other day just before Christmas. In Texas where it doesn't usually get very cold on the gulf. We almost had A white Christmas.

A Few Days Later We Are Back Walking On The Sea Wall Like It Never Happened.
