I wanted to go with something a bit less needing of a sweetener, because sometimes it's good to slack off on the sugar. Though I never put much Maple syrup in my smoothies, I didn't put any in this one.
I went with frozen fruit again. I have used up most of the peaches for my yogurt thingy, so I used the strawberries and mangos. It was mostly strawberries. There may have been one or two slices of peach in there too. Strawberries are good for back pain, and they are naturally sweeter than some other berries or fruits. I'm not too crazy about them, but it comes and goes in phases where my body craves them, so I have them. And Frank also bought a bunch of fresh ones too, which we all ate with the kids last night.
The juices I used were pure orange juice from Oasis and the Tradition Lemonade, which is made fresh and natural; it's a tangy kind of lemonade, not very sweet.
I had enough for seconds and Frank had the little left-over.
I really like how my glasses full of smoothie are reflected in the blender's base in a nifty way. It was a fluke, but in terms of cinematography, it's a really neat shot and something I'll have to use at some point, film the subject from a blender's reflection hehe And I realise every time I take a pic of a smoothie, my blender is right there, and it's free advertisement for Oster, that's for sure haha
