We are in a truly exciting time right now. We have a chance to not only take back control of our money but a chance to create a vast amount of wealth that has been taken from us for so long. This opportunity comes in the form of bitcoin. By participating in this paradigm shift of how we think about money, you are not only doing your part to stick it to the banks that have done nothing but loot and destroy the world, but also making a very wise investment as our current model continues to bleed out. When first stepping into this crypto-world you will notice many "cheaper" coins that all are taking their turns breaking out and making people tons of quick cash left and right. DO NOT fall for the hype and gold rush mentality. Unless you have done your research (there are some worth throwing milk money at, including steem!!) and have a large bankroll to gamble on these altcoins, just stick to the slam-dunk and the answer for mankinds' biggest foe. Bitcoin has the potential to become bigger than anything you can imagine. We have such a special opportunity in front of us at this moment in time, let's not get greedy. Don't get caught up chasing quick cash and miss the "Big Breakout" that will come at one point with bitcoin. These altcoins are nothing but distractions and speed bumps for the runaway train that bitcoin is and will continue to be. Now I'm not against quick cash, but why go else where? Bitcoin's volatility is a cash cow that continues to get great returns over and over almost daily! It falls into great channels where you can take a portion of your position and sell high,buy low, rinse, repeat, and accumulate tons of coins off the crazy swings. While the uneducated continue to troll boards saying it's a bubble and that it is crashing, you can continue to cash in on the volatility as it continues to grow. It can be hard to stomach sometimes with these crazy swings, so only put in what you can afford to lose. The next golden rule when it comes to investing with bitcoin is to NOT PANIC and DO NOT sell for losses. It has a very strong history of rebounding on every dip it has ever encountered. So you will be fine on any future dip that may occur. Especially if you are taking advantage of the volatility it has when its going sideways. Finally, don't pay attention to it's high price relative to anything we know of today to purchase. As I stated above, this is truly a paradigm shift and you have to change the way you think of money. When you use the term bitcoin later in life it will be equivalent to using the term 100k or millionaire etc and you will more refer to it in terms of satoshis like we use the term dollars now. 5 years from now we will all laugh about how we thought 2-3k per coin was expensive!
