Sad and alone

I believe that everyone has heard the story about swans love, forever together! If one of them dies, other that remains alive for the rest of his life remains alone, in grief. These days I was witness of such a sad event, the female swan was killed by a stray dog and became a meal to this hungry dog. Today, after a few weeks, I again saw a swan how lonely wandering around the canal and continually calling on his partner. It seems that the story of love among the swans is not an empty story, but a truth, a sad truth...
