Ever wondered what benefits blogging can do for you ?
Here are my top 3 benefits which are non monetary of course as its normally one of the top reason for everyone here. I'd like to address the more none common reasons.
1) Blogging has its therapeutic values
Twenty years of research indicates expressive writing may enhance physical and psychological well-being

Its been known for a long time that by writing about personal experiences, what's in your thoughts and feelings, it has its therapeutic benefits which is mainly a good cure for stress as it becomes an outlet of letting out what's bugging you.
Research shows that apart from just a stress reliever, it also has physiological benefits which improves your memory and also lets you sleep better as well.
2) Builds your network professionally / socially
For most professionals especially soloprenuers , building a business network is really important. Even if its not purely for business, having a medium where you directly engage with your audience / customer does improve credibility of you, your brand and your business overall.
At the end of the day its all about having a great relationship with your customers / clients / other businesses. If your blog content is valuable and helpful, its really effective in things like web authority , SEO rankings and traffic.
3) It builds your self confidence
At the start , its always a hard learning curve where a lot of new bloggers on steemit has almost zero experience in blogging. I'm guilty of that as well. Prior to Steemit, the closest thing to blogging i've ever done was trolling Facebook and sometimes Linkedin and occationally YouTube
I've tried creating YouTube videos however having a consistency was something which I didn't have. Always in my thoughts was what if someone didn;t like this .. or someone didn't like that ... Same thing happened with Steemit. I forced myself to start blogging every single day without worrying too much before posting.
I won't say my blogging is good / great now , but as long as I try , what is there to loose ? Everything starts somewhere and you can only get better from each attempt. By doing that, you'll gain more self confidence as you have overcome your initial fears.
Summary
So don't be ashamed of your blogs as your fans will follow you for who you are. Keep on blogging and challenge yourself to get better each time with results that you can measure for yourself.
