Hive account@awesomianist wrote a whole recommendation few days ago and I am not someone who is able to table down my achievements as it was the help of the entire community we were able to bring and grow the Malaysian steemit community.

I'm not sure if the prize has been given out already however here is my pitch and hopefully there is still a chance for winning this.

My Drive

2016 was a very bad year and going into 2017 was deemed to be worst off. So I decided to do 2 things which forces me to make a change.

• Get up, get out and start a new initiative and GROW it
• Have only the "Givers Gain" mentality

STEEM !!!!!! #teammalaysia

When I stumbled upon steem May 2017 I saw the big picture. We can seriously swing this to help so many people. This will ignite the passion of content creation. A great way to help associations and also struggling artists who barely make ends meet.

Having taken part in growing a few communities before, it was an easy start as the network to get things growing was there. Together with Hive account@awesomianist, Hive account@littlenewthings, Hive account@kevinwong, Hive account@donkeypong, Hive account@danieldoughty, Hive account@francesaw and a lot more which can't really mention everyone who helped I started driving the growth of #teammalaysia

I have to emphasise that this is a collective and I do not claim ownership as so many fantastic individuals pitch in some help .

The Results ... we went into Phase 1 of Teammalaysia - MASSIVE GROWTH

To further assist members for #teammalaysia we created a website where we place tutorials. This website was started by me and now with the help of Hive account@awesomianist & Hive account@zord189 we are all updating it whenever its required.

Moving Forward

These are my plans in the near future :-

• Keep holding more events to grow steemit and introduce #teammalaysia
• Organized collaboration with clubs & associations
• Provide support to colleges, schools & universities and grow steemit in-campus
• Make it to SteemFest2

So why give me a ticket to STEEMFest2

Because I want to be able to provide a representation of #teammalaysia and be able to meet great and awesome individuals there. Most importantly to build a strong relationship and start new collaborations for #teammalaysia
Also ! I am very determined to host Steemfest Asia next year ! So having collaborations would be nothing short of great.

Did I also mentioned that I've got a series of artwork which I have contributed for various initiatives on Steemit ?
