The giant ocean liner Symphony of the Seas was launched 13 years after the launch. Initially, the ship will fly from the southern coast of Spain to Malta and other islands of the Mediterranean, and from autumn - from Miami to the Caribbean. The ship will become the world's largest cruise liner.
Symphony of the Seas will become the largest operating passenger liner in the world. The ship that built 13 years, finally launched, and on its first flight will depart in April - apparently, the owners are not superstitious.
The ship is really huge: 18 decks, the length of the hull is 362 meters, the width is 22 meters, the total weight is 230,000 tons. In motion, it is driven by four propellers of 7,500 horsepower each, which allows you to develop a speed of up to 22 knots.
The ship is planned as a whole world of entertainment industry and is divided into 7 thematic zones. For 13 years not only shipbuilding engineers worked: the water slide Ultimate Abyss, 10 decks high and a deck set at 9 deck, a huge park with 12,000 plants, a water amphitheater in the open air, restaurants with exotic food and even a unique Bionic Bar with bartender robots .
The first flight is supposed to take the route Barcelona - Majorca - Marseille - Rome - Capri - Barcelona, and from November 2018 the vessel will carry tourists from Miami to Saint Kitts-i-Nevis and the Bahamas.
