Located about an hour outside of Anchorage, you will find the wonderful Knik River Lodge. 22 luxury cabins, nestled in the foothills of the Chugach Mountains with an incredible view of the Knik River Valley.

The drive on the way from Anchorage to Alaska provided some of the most breathtaking scenes I have witnessed. These pics really could be a postcard.

THE CABINS

The luxury cabins have everything you could want: A large bed, bathroom, small kitchenette and a large balcony to sit, drink wine and enjoy the views.

OUR VIEW

As you can see, we had a wonderful view from our cabin. Watching the helicopters take off and land as they flew people to the GLACIER or to the ALASKA DOG-SLEDDING CAMP. We also saw some Moose at the edge of the woods. Wonderful stuff!
