GAZA - The Hamas group that controls the Gaza Strip, Palestine, waged a "day of rage" against Israeli security forces after tensions in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound have not subsided. The group called on Palestinians a massive demonstration on Friday.
Hamas claimed victory in a dispute with the Israeli side at the site of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The victory in question is Israel's submission to remove metal detectors at the entrance of the mosque complex under pressure from many parties.
On Wednesday, Hamas staged a celebratory demonstration in Gaza City over the release of an Israeli metal detector at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. The group called on its supporters and Palestinians took to the streets to protest Israeli offenses on the holy sites.
As is known, Israel still maintains CCTV around the entrance of the holy mosque complex that still triggered the anger of the Palestinian Muslim congregation.
"The mosque (Al-Aqsa) calls your conscience and your honor, for it is impossible to remain silent in the face of the Israeli occupation effort to start a new reality there," Hamasaki's head of the politburo council, Ismail Haniyeh, in a paper published by al -Risala, which was launched by Jerusalem Post on Thursday (7/27/2017).
Israeli officials announced last Tuesday that sophisticated technological equipment will be used at the mosque site rather than a metal detector. The official did not specify when the metal detector was removed and what equipment to replace it.
Israel also tends to increase its strength on the site of Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem. An Associated Press video recording on Tuesday showed heavy machinery and Israeli workers being mustered to the entrance of the sacred site.

Israel's move angered the Muslim world and triggered violence.
