The shit thing got real again! Hurricane season has started and we have the first one knocking on our doors, saying "I'm back bit...." well, you got the idea!
Mr. Beryl wants to knock us down like last year's hurricanes Irma and Maria did. Well, excuse me Beryl but Maria alone destroyed Puerto Rico and killed more than 5k people... it seems to me you're just a crappy wannabe hurricane so go back and cry to your momma!
Now in a serious tone, I know....I'm never serious... living in the middle of the hurricane highway sucks! Knowing the hurricane season last 6 months, sucks! Knowing that you will be without electricity/water/internet for only God knows how long if a hurricane hit you SUCKS!
Yes, it can be fun to hear how the world is literally being destroyed by wind and rain outside... hey, don't look at me like that! I survived 5 strong hurricanes and many storms during my whole life. If you live at the Caribbean you even enjoy hurricane season, that doesn't mean we enjoy seeing people suffering because they lost their homes or loved ones! Also that doesn't mean we want to get hit by a hurricane right now, especially when we still recovering from 2 strong hurricanes from last year.... well 10 months ago to be exact.
The best we can do is be prepared with canned food, potable water, junk food for the nerves, batteries and pray God for help. So, for all my brothers and sisters at the hurricane highway, stay safe and enjoy the ride!
