Pitchborneo is a platform for startups to generate, develop, refine and pitch business ideas in Sabah North Borneo. My passion in social entrepreneurship made me pitched this idea to Ministry of Education & Innovation (K-Pi) 
to fund the program and provide RM20k worth of startup funding to the 10 best business ideas pitch at the final. Through SATA (Sabah Techpreneur Association), we implement this program where I'm able to conduct the training in 4 districts all over Sabah with limited 30 participants in each event for the past 8 years since 2011. Six (6) best ideas from each district are selected to the final where they pitch to win RM20k worth of funding. Our main objective is to create more entrepreneurs in Sabah through a business pitch platform. Our vision is "A Techpreneur in Every Family". If we could create at least ONE entrepreneur in every family, imagine what would be the impact on socio-economy to the local community???
Every year we have a theme and this year is Disruptive & Innovative edition - to challenge the startup community to come up with more innovative ideas. And for the final of PB2018 we have invited daniel doughty to share steemit and expose the disruptive & innovative blockchain technology to all the finalists. Pitchborneo is now steeming hot.
