En ésta ocasión hice algo distinto, lo que se me dificulta más hacer tanto en dibujos como en tela, y son los personajes masculinos. Hace un tiempo tenía pensado hacer un príncipe, pero no me animaba lo suficiente. Hoy se los presento y espero que les guste.

This time I did something different, what I have the hardest time doing both in drawings and fabric, and that is male characters. Some time ago I had planned to make a prince, but I was not encouraged enough. Today I present them to you and I hope you like them.

Tela de algodón color azul oscuro.
Tela de algodón color rojo.

Papel y lápiz.
Tijeras, hilo y agujas.

Este molde ya lo había hecho hace un tiempo hoy decidí utilizarlo y ver si podía darle vida. Se hará la cabeza, cuerpo y brazos.
I had already made this mold some time ago and today I decided to use it and see if I could bring it to life. The head, body and arms will be made.
Como siempre para cada molde corresponden dos piezas de tela, aquí tengo 8 en total.
As always for each mold corresponds two pieces of fabric, here I have 8 in total.
Con ayuda de la línea guía se cosen todas las piezas dejando el pequeño espacio por dónde se volteará la tela.
With the help of the guide line, all the pieces are sewn together leaving a small space where the fabric will be turned over.
Cada pieza se rellena de algodón y luego se cierra.
Each piece is stuffed with cotton and then closed.
Primero hay que vestir el cuerpo, decidí vestirlo de negro, camisa y pantalón. Con pequeños cuadrados de tela voy cubriendo y al mismo tiempo dándole forma de ropa.
First the body has to be dressed, I decided to dress it in black, shirt and pants. With small squares of fabric I cover it and at the same time give it the shape of clothes.
Haré lo mismo con los brazos pero con tela color azul oscuro, luego de cubrirlos los añado al cuerpo.
I will do the same with the arms but with dark blue fabric, after covering them I add them to the body.
Ésta tela de algodón negra tiene pequeños pliegues de textura, me pareció bien para las botas del principe.
This black cotton fabric has small textured pleats, it looked good for the prince's boots.
Luego de tener el cuerpo listo, seguimos con el rostro, debo confesar que aquí sí me tarde un poco ya que es difícil para mí hacer rostros masculinos.
After having the body ready, we continued with the face, I must confess that here I was a little late because it is difficult for me to make male faces.
Comencé con el cabello agregando recortes de tela pequeños para formar unas capas.
I started with the hair by adding small fabric clippings to form a few layers.
Mi idea era un príncipe de cabello largo como los que aparecen en los cuentos de hadas.
My idea was a long-haired prince like the ones in fairy tales.
Luego le añadí los detalles al rostro, quería tenerlo completo antes de pegarlo al cuerpo.
Then I added the details to the face, I wanted to have it complete before gluing it to the body.
Antes de pegarlo al cuerpo le puse un collar hecho con hilo de coser blanco y una piedra azul.
Before attaching it to the body I put a necklace made with white sewing thread and a blue stone.
Luego añadí su capa, solo un cuadro de tela rojo.
Then I added his cape, just a red cloth square.
¡Éste principe ya está listo para el baile en el palacio!
This prince is now ready for the ball at the palace!
