Styling of an old shoe with a piece of fabric

Hi creative community Hive account@diyhub today has been fun especially at school.
But guess what? during interaction with my friends today i learnt alot from them and i decided to come back home and put it into practice.
A friend of mine explained how she transformed her old shoes into something nice and beautiful.
I told her I'll try it also.
Though i didn't see what she did,but her explanations were easier for me to understand.

The things i used for this transformation are:
My old black colour shoe, scissors Thread and needle and an old piece of fabric

After putting all the materials to be used together i started working on it.

Steps taken
The first procedure was, i took the fabric though it was very small,it was just one yard.
I spread it out on the floor,i used a cover from an old container to create the circle shape on the fabric

Next Procedure
I used scissors to cut out the circle from the fabric.
I made it as many as possible
Because i wanted it to be enough for the the pair of shoes.

Next procedure
The next procedure was,i got a thread and needle and i folded the fabric to a cone shape and i sew the tip.

Next procedure
I did the same thing and i sew each of the pieces together till it was many and enough for each side of the shoe .

Last procedures
I attached them to the shoes and it gave my old shoe a new look and style.
