Hello to any of my readers and "Dear (weekly) Diary" 😜
It looks like the crypto market has held onto it's gains in the past week. BTC has been hovering at the 35k mark thereabouts. The real winner for the past 7 days has been HIVE though, with a 7+% gain as compared to BTC and ETH's 2%. Lets all hope that this is something that will be sustained. 📈📉
On the Splinterlands dev side of the game, there is just under 2 weeks of time left for the Rebellion Presale Event before it ends. How has the sales numbers been doing so far? Are there any significant news updates about Rebellion? We will go into that later on. 😉
But before I go into detail...
A brief introduction before I start though...
Good Day to all Splinterlands players! (and people of HIVE! 😜) I've made it a point to blog about my weekly progress and experiences in Splinterlands/HIVE in my "weekly diary". Splinterlands & HIVE are what I'd consider to be my entry point into the World of Crypto, and I intend to use this as a means to look back on the path I've taken in the years ahead.⏳⏳⏳
This is now the 102nd consecutive week writing in my Diary (of sorts) detailing my Splinterlands Journey ever since I started this game. I talk about what has gone on my personal Splinterlands playing experience, my weekly Guild Brawl Reports, and also any Splinterlands ingame news. 🎉🥳🎊
No week goes by in Splinterlands without some news event happening though. And here's my pick of some of the most interesting ones in my opinion. 📰📰📰

It is once again another routine week for my Splinterlands gameplay. The End of Season just went past and I've spent the last few days grinding my way back up the ranks again on both my accounts. It has been going pretty smoothly and I've got no complaints. Just grind on daily and get my Daily Focus reward chests! 😁 Unfortunately, I've had no luck with striking any jackpots in those chests so far. 😅
My quest for more Gold Foil Legendary cards from my rewards chests continues on ("Greed is Good!" 😈). It's a 0.008% chance, at base level, to pull a legendary gold foil, in case you were wondering 😉. Here's to more jackpot strikes in the future (i hope) 🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀.

With the end of the week comes my latest Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for "PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish" too. 🍕⚔️🛡️
My main regularly picks up the ✨🏅✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion Only Fray no.12✨🏅✨ while my alt takes up the ✨🏅✨Bronze Chaos Legion Fray no. 7✨🏅✨ every week.
It has been an extra busy week for me. I was completely swamped at work having had to deal with several emergencies. In that hectic mess, I completely missed all the guild brawls without even noticing it until it was well and truly over. Sigh. 💔
PIZZA 2 Guild managed to finish in ??? place! 🏆🏆🏆
Unfortunately, as I've mentioned, I missed it all. So much to the extent that I didn't even know what place we finished in. I hope the guild had a strong finish in spite of my complete no show. Sorry guys! 😔
Great Job from everyone who took part in the Guild Brawls! I'm proud of you all! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
On a sidenote, we've still got some unfilled frays too so...

🏆💰🎁Splinterlands News🏆💰🎁
There are only about 13 days to go (as of this post) before Rebellion ends it's presale stage. How have the sales numbers been in the past week?
Unfortunately, there has been a massive slowdown in sales. Based on my own record keeping, only about 13k packs were sold since my post last week. It's not a bad number per se, as that's still about 2k packs everyday. If we take the packs at face value, I'd say at $10k everyday is still a very respectable revenue flow.
Of course, I do think that being smack in the middle of the event means this will be a lull period in sales. As past sales events have shown, the start and end tends to see the greatest movement in sales. The last day will be the one to watch as players who are in contention for presale leaderboard are most likely to make sudden last minute strategic purchases to get the lead on their opponents.
There are also some new information that I've gleaned from the latest Splinterlands Town Hall in the past week that I think is worth mentioning.
A possible 5th new ability that may be added to the set.
A burning event likely early 2024 focused on card burning to bring more value to packs.
This is going to be interesting. What will this rumoured ability be? And more value to packs? Yes please! 🤑
Weekly Riftwatchers Sales Tracker
Well, CHAOS LEGION IS ALL SOLD OUT! So the next most logical thing to track next are the sales of Riftwatchers.
2399293 packs have been sold (as of the writing of my post) out of a total supply of 3 million. There's still almost 100k to the next count of 2.5 million packs sold before we get the next Legendary Riftwatchers Airdrop card. 🚀📈🤑
