Manduca quinquemaculata, the Five-Spotted Hawkmoth's larvae, also known as the Tomato Hookworm.
Known by me as The Destroyer of My Tomatoes!
Not dangerous to humans, but they sure wreak havoc on tomato plants. My daughter and I were the only ones brave enough to pluck them off the fledgling plants.
Remember! Waste Not Want Not on the homestead.
I threw them on the ground in the chicken yard, much to my 3 Muscovy ducks delight. They scarfed them up like a calorically under-challenged kid scarfs up gummy worms.
