I must admit that I haven't done a lit today, other than cleaning up the kitchen a little, and then running the kids to thier basketball games, and coaching one of them. Not a tough day by any means, but somehow I still feel a but worn out.
It is #beersaturday today, so I'm capping off the day with an ice cold Pilsner straight out of the Czech Republic, Praga Premium Pils.
Reading the reviews of this pilsner, it doesn't seem to have much wow factor about it, but I'm quite enjoying it. It has a slight sweetness to it, but then ends with a bitter aftertaste.
It pours to a nice crisp and clear golden colour with a clear white head, which disappears quite quickly, and seems to compliment my bowl of snacks nicely.
I usually go for a lager or pale ale, but this pilsner, to me, is a refreshing and light change, but still with good flavour. Perfect to sit in front of the TC and catch the game.
