This is my entry for the 's Wednesday walk challenge.
Today I want to continue my story about a trip to the city of Kazan, which I made several years ago at the very end of spring.
Last time I finished my story on how my colleagues and I returned to the hotel. The next day, business meetings were waiting for us, and in the evening we went to a restaurant.
This restaurant was located on the lake. When I saw that sunset was about to descend above the lake, I went by taxi to the hotel to take my camera with me.
When I arrived with a camera, the last colors of sunset lit up the sky and reflected in the lake.
On the other side of the lake were the buildings of a mosque and a theater.
I decided to walk through the restaurant, all the while looking towards the sunset sky.
Near the hotel was a mosque clearly built a very long time ago. And behind the mosque was a modern glazed building that contrasted with the mosque. And in this, in my opinion, one of the main features of Kazan. Here at every step you can see ancient architectural and cultural objects near modern, religious objects near objects representing modern life and technology. For example, in this photo on the building you see an advertisement of one large bank.
After a walk, I went again to the shore, where it was seen how the so-called blue hour (bluehour) falls over the city.
Lanterns have already been lit in the restaurant.
And in one of the halls of the restaurant there was a concert of one Georgian folk-rock band.
The musicians played very inspiredly and this made me take a couple of shots, although I had never photographed concerts before.
The next time I returned to the shore, when it was already beginning to get dark. The landscape in front of me has completely changed.
The lights were turned on on the buildings and its warm light began to contrast with the blue sky reflected in the lake.
Before leaving home, I passed blooming apple trees and decided to take a couple more shots.
I liked how the flowers of the apple tree look against the background of the distant city lights.
So this evening ended and we again went to the hotel. But the most interesting thing on this trip is still ahead. And I will talk about this next time.
See you next Wednesday!
