Tomato Honey Bee - A semi-vining tomato which produces dozens of delicous ripe fruits in clusters. The fruit are bright yellow and exceptionally sweet, measuring 2.5cm (1") in diameter.
Today some of my honey bee tomatoes just ripened and with a bright yellow colour i could see stepping into the backyard. We eat them in salads or by them self which is a great healthy treat.
We started the summer off extremely dry so i had to use the rain barrel and tap water for June and July, and all of august its been raining almost every day so pure rain water for all of august, just in time for fruiting. The honey bee tomato plants are 1 metre in height. This garden is all natural with nature working at its best. There is spiders, aphids predators, wolf spiders in the garden that actually keep many insects away.
So to get perfect Honey bee tomatoes you need to make sure you have good drainage, rain water, and sun light. I water the garden every day with rain water, and try not to use the tap (city) water in your garden. Water in the morning to early evening, don't water at night you could get into many issues down the road with mildew, mold, and disease.
If you ever get cracked tomatoes and don't want to eat them, save the seeds for next year by just squeezing them into a plastic Tupperware or glass jar. Keep the jar in the house, wait a few days, it will get moldy and just rinse it off in a strainer and let it dry on a paper towel or tin foil. Now you have seeds for next year.....
I added the pictures below and you could see how beautiful the tomatoes and garden is....
Stay natural for all gardens even if its on the balcony, keep our bees alive and our environment clean.
All natural garden
