Sorry for not reporting things in proper chronological order - but there's just too much to report and I am too lazy and disorganized, so bear with me.
Yesterday we took off from the Raleigh, NC area and headed home. Our full route ended up being more or less as follows: Providence, RI - Charleston, SC - Orlando, FL - Tampa, FL - Orlando, FL - Raleigh, NC - Providence, RI. Altogether we drove a little in excess of 3,000 miles ~ 4,800 km.
So on our way back we visited the capital of Virginia and completely accidentally ran into the local Earth Day Festival. Kudos to organizers - the event was well organized and it was a very pleasant surprise to find it out of the blue.
