Today is Thanksgiving Day in the US. We could talk about the historical roots of this holiday. Several versions of the original story exist as history is murky. But I would rather focus on what it means to so many people today.
It is a day when we are supposed to be thankful to those who add meaning and value to our life, to count our blessings. And to have a major feast to celebrate the year's harvest.
The remnants of the feast are depicted above. I apologize for not taking the pictures prior to the feast - but I guess I was too busy sniffing and swallowing all this great food that S, her Mom and V had made. Kudos and major gratitude to them for that.
I am also grateful to thousands of readers I have on various platforms. Thank you for taking the time to read and comment. I appreciate you all and hope you too have lots to be thankful for and would like to take this opportunity to also wish you the best of luck in your endeavours.
And may your every day be a Thanksgiving Day.
