Long-term believer, short-term cautious
Yesterday I cut my $TSLA position in half. The chart looks weak in the short term, and with a P/E of around 300 currently and roughly 150–200 for 2027, the valuation feels quite stretched even for Tesla.
I’m still a long-term believer in Musk and the company. But from current levels, I don’t see massive upside over the next few years anymore. If things go well, I think 30–100% upside by 2030 is still realistic. But the downside risk adds up at current levels and risk/rewards is not very favorable.
If we get a bigger correction, I’ll most likely start adding again.
