This is a forbidden park built by the sultans of Aceh long times ago. This park is only reserved for women of the palace. They play and bathe here, before, when Aceh was still standing on its own feet.
In the middle of this park flowing artificial river, Krueng Daroy. There is a building of Pinto Khop in the middle. The building was made to please the princesses. In ancient times, in this building there are various precious stones.
Some call it Darul Iski, others call it Taman Ghairah. While the wise man used to call this park Bustanussalatin, which means the garden of the kings. Now, we know better this park with Taman Putroe Phang.

The park is located in downtown Banda Aceh, Aceh, Sumatra Island. The location is not far from the Baiturrahman Great Mosque of Banda Aceh. The park is flanked by the road of Sultan Alaidin Mahmudsyah and the road of Teuku Umar. Very close to the home office of Aceh's head of government.
