Lucid Dreams
Humanity maintains a desire to understand in order to accept and his is definitely the case when it comes to dreams given the extensive research that has been done over the years on this topic, I mean let’s face it, is there really a point in stereotyping and categorizing the different types of dreams other that understanding them slightly better or even understanding ourselves better?
Dreams has always been something that I have been fascinated with, and I love taking a little time out first thing in the morning and reflecting on my dreams.
And the one type of dream that I have quite often is Lucid Dreams.
What exactly is a lucid dream?
A lucid dream can be described as a dream where the person sleeping is actually aware that they are in a dream state. These dreams are normally very realistic and things in your dreams even feel real (– hence the term VIVID dream), despite the fact that characters and things will often be greatly exaggerated.
The things I love most about vivid dreams:
Because you remain completely aware that you are dreaming you are also aware of your actions in the dream, this makes it possible to actually manipulate the outcomes of your dreams in stead of just taking a backseat to the show.
What other types of dreams are there:
There are various categories of dream types other than Lucid dreams, and I will be doing a short series on them in the near future, here is a short list of dream types:
• Psychological Healing Dreams
• Belief Dreams
• Problem-Solving Dreams
• Physiological Dreams
• Dreams of Daily Life
• Compensatory Dreams
• Recurring Dreams
• Psychic Dreams
• Nightmares
